I’ve had a lot of thoughts flowing through my mind lately. Mainly I’m trying to gain enough focus to start my next writing project. While this project is currently untitled, it will be the sequel to my recently self-published short story The Midnight Kiss.

Like I said, I’m trying to find focus and motivation to start officially writing the manuscript. So, I thought sharing some of what has helped inspire me so far…

The Midnight Kiss followed my two main characters, Willow and Huxley. My next work will follow Huxley’s twin brother Kit. Kit is a wheelchair user because he has Cerebral Palsy, much like myself.

In my own life, I’m turning a corner when it comes to being proud of my disability. It’s time I stop accommodating myself to the world, and start fighting to make the world more accommodating for myself, and others with disabilities. Kit will be going on a similar journey throughout his story.
