Working On Book Two

I published a book. I have written a book. For some reason, I don’t talk about this as much as I should. Maybe it’s because it’s a children’s book, and I think everyone could write a children’s book if they wanted to. Perhaps it’s because I Self-published and don’t feel confident in my writing ability.

But that’s about to change…

The second book in my series is set to come out soon. October 13th, 2023, to be exact. October has been my favorite month. It starts with my birthday and ends with one of my favorite holidays, Halloween. The 13th will lead into a difficult weekend for me and my family. The 13th, when my second book comes out, will only be two days before the second anniversary of my grandmother’s death. I chose to take my publication date as a sign from her. She was always one of my biggest supporters, especially when it came to my writing. I think this is her way of saying that the weekend should be a cause for celebration rather than mourning.

I’m looking at the publication of my second book as a fresh start. I’m going to be as loud and proud about my writing as I can be.
