Thinking Thursday #1

I think every week, I’m going to write a blog post. Most likely on Wednesdays or Thursdays, but maybe not always? I’m horrible when it comes to following a specific schedule. What even is a deadline? Go procrastination! I won’t pick the topics ahead of time. When I’m ready to write a post, the subject will be whatever is on my weird, random mind. So, let’s see how this goes…

I currently have several writing projects in progress. One of which is a book of poetry. Now, don’t get excited; it’s nowhere near finished. I don’t even have a completed first draft. BUT I wrote a couple of lines of poetry last night. That I want to share, here they are.

Music is memory/ Bottled in the brain.

These lines remind me of one of my favorite quotes by musician Nathan West.

“Music is medicine for the soul.” -Nathan West.

I have a couple of other poems inspired by Nathan’s quote. Maybe I’ll share them with you one day.

Until next time…
